Development Manager

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Development Manager to oversee and expand our fundraising efforts. This role is critical to the sustainability and growth of the L.O.V.E. Mentoring Program. The Development Manager will design and implement fundraising strategies, cultivate and manage donor relationships, write compelling grant proposals, and coordinate fundraising events. This person will also promote our mission, build strategic partnerships, and ensure fundraising targets are met. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising strategy Cultivate and steward relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners Identify and write grant proposals aligned with organizational goals Plan and manage fundraising events and campaigns Track fundraising progress and report on goals and outcomes Collaborate with leadership to align development efforts with organizational priorities Represent and advocate for L.O.V.E.’s mission in the community and with stakeholders Qualifications Proven experience in fundraising, development, or nonprofit advancement Strong background in donor relations and partnership building Demonstrated success in writing grants and securing funding Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills Strong organizational and project management abilities Passion for youth development, education, and empowerment, especially within Latina and underserved communities
