Associate Managing Director, Digital Forensic and Incident Response (DFIR)
As the Associate Managing Director for our U.S. government business, you will engage with a high-performing team of cybersecurity professionals in providing solutions and strategic guidance to U.S. government and states agencies and departments who primarily have a homeland facing mission. You will oversee and lead efforts to develop business with the U.S. government and states agencies and government contracting firms. Responsibilities Lead, develop, and manage work with U.S. government and state agencies and departments. Develop and manage complex cyber opportunities with U.S. government and states agencies and government contracting firms. Serve as a trusted advisor to government leaders, C-level executives, legal counsel, and board members. Lead and direct the development of playbooks, programs, and frameworks to counter adversarial nation states. Build and scale Kroll’s civilian sector focused government practice. Drive business development by building client relationships and identifying new service opportunities. Oversee engagement delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance with industry and regulatory standards. Collaborate with other companies working with U.S. government and U.S. states as necessary. Represent the firm at industry events and in the media as a thought leader in cyber infrastructure resiliency. Requirements 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, including at least 7 years in the U.S. Government, SES qualified. Experience in working with civilian sector agencies such as the Department of Homeland Security. Be willing to maintain a Top Secret clearance. Deep expertise in cyberattack lifecycle, threat actor TTPs, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, MITRE ATT&CK). Strong business acumen and client-facing skills, including experience presenting to executives and boards. Proven track record of managing large-scale incidents and crisis situations.
