462022 Siemens Grid Software is seeking an Energy Consulting Project Manager to deliver valuable solutions to utilities, investors, project developers, and other energy industry clients. This is a remote position based in the Contiguous U.S. The role focuses on project management, business development, and advisory services in electrification of energy end-uses, transaction advisory, energy market analyses, and procurement in power. We are paving the way for autonomous grid management, helping grid operators accelerate digital transformation at scale. Our Power Technologies International (PTI) Energy Business Advisory team navigates complexity, drives growth, and supports M&A activities, with services spanning planning, risk management, operations improvement, market studies, and decarbonization initiatives. Responsibilities
Drive projects for consulting and advisory engagements: lead project teams, ensure quality and profitability, manage budgets and results, and nurture client relationships. Engage in strategic growth: contact clients, build professional relationships, develop value propositions, and prepare Scope of Work and budgets. Advise clients in transactions involving energy assets: procurement of energy, ancillary services, clean energy certificates, fossil fuels, and related products; provide due diligence services. Support clients deploying e-mobility solutions and other decarbonization technologies (electrification of heating, alternative fuels, etc.). Advise on regulatory and policy issues: support to utilities in rate cases and guidance for government decarbonization policies. Deliver consulting services in energy markets: forecast wholesale electricity prices and other market variables, support asset valuation, and identify investment opportunities. Prepare detailed written reports and compelling presentations describing analyses, conclusions, and recommendations. Mentor staff during project execution and ongoing in your area of expertise. Qualifications
Basic qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, economics, finance, statistics, physics, or mathematics; proven project management experience in the electrical utility energy sector (electrification, transaction advisory, procurement, wholesale markets, regulation/policy, and/or energy market analyses); ability and willingness to travel up to 25% (primarily within the U.S.). Preferred qualifications:
Experience in business development for consulting services; experience in production cost modeling (e.g., Aurora); experience leading teams of technical experts in the energy field. You’ll Benefit From

The pay range for this position is $82,320 - $172,320 annually with a target incentive of 10% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
