Overview

Energy Consulting Project Manager to deliver valuable solutions to utilities, investors, project developers and other energy industry clients. This remote position is based in the Contiguous U.S. Responsibilities

Drive projects for consulting and advisory engagements, leading project teams, ensuring quality and profitability, managing budget and results, and nurturing the client relationship. Engage in strategic growth by contacting clients, building professional relationships, developing value propositions, and preparing scopes of work and budgets. Advise clients engaging in transactions of energy assets (procurement of energy, ancillary services, clean energy certificates, fossil fuels, and other products) and provide due diligence services. Support clients deploying e-mobility solutions and other technologies for decarbonization of end-use energy, including electrification of heating and deployment of alternative fuels. Advise clients on regulatory and policy issues, ranging from utility rate cases to guidance for government decarbonization policies. Deliver consulting services in energy markets, including forecasts of wholesale electricity prices and other market variables, and their use in asset valuation and investment opportunity identification. Prepare detailed written reports and compelling presentations describing analyses, conclusions, and recommendations. Mentor staff members during project execution and ongoing in their area of expertise. Qualifications

Basic qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, economics, finance, statistics, physics, or mathematics; proven project management experience in the electrical utility energy sector, including electrification, transaction advisory, procurement, wholesale power markets, regulation/policy, and/or energy market analyses; ability and willingness to travel up to 25% of the time (primarily within the U.S.). Preferred qualifications: Experience in business development for consulting services; experience in production cost modeling (e.g., Aurora); experience leading teams of technical experts in the energy field. Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $82,320 - $172,200 with a target annual incentive of 10% of base salary. Actual wages offered may be higher or lower based on budget, candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and location. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits.
