About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic Vice President of Housing Stability to lead our strategic initiatives in this vital area. As a thought leader, you will champion our mission in addressing housing and homelessness, prioritizing equity, collaboration, and meaningful impact. Your key responsibilities will include:
Shaping and evolving housing strategies
Leading high-impact initiatives
Cultivating partnerships across various sectors to drive systemic change
Refining our Theory of Action to tackle root causes of housing instability
Centering the experiences of those directly affected and ensuring policy efforts resonate with community voices
The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in relevant sectors, with a strong understanding of the housing and homelessness systems in Massachusetts. A commitment to equity, economic justice, and community-centered leadership is essential, along with a successful track record in strategy development, systems change, and managing teams. Excellent communication abilities, collaborative leadership skills, and strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities are required.
Experience in grantmaking, program design, or philanthropic partnerships is advantageous. A BA/BS degree, computer literacy, and the ability to work in a hybrid schedule are also necessary.
