About the Role
The company is on the lookout for a dynamic Vice President of People and Culture who will be instrumental in shaping the organizational culture while advancing our mission to alleviate human suffering. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for a seasoned HR professional who partners strategically and collaborates effectively with other leaders. You will lead the charge in defining, developing, and implementing the Foundation's HR strategy, manage all HR functions, and advise the executive team on best practices. Key responsibilities include: overseeing talent management, driving organizational design, and cultivating a performance-oriented culture of trust and achievement. You will lead an enthusiastic team and contribute significantly to the planning and design of the Foundation's new headquarters. The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus. You should have a minimum of 10 years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position. Experience within mission-driven organizations is highly desirable. We are looking for individuals who have a comprehensive understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance regulations, both domestically and internationally. Exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities are essential. A strong commitment to our mission and values combined with personal attributes such as humility, grace, and compassion is a must.
