Role: Floor Care Specialist
Pay Rate: $18/hr
Hours: Mon-Fri (3-11:30pm)

Responsibilities: Perform specialized floor care tasks, such as stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning. Safely operate various types of floor care equipment, including auto scrubbers and burnishers. Maintain cleanliness and order in both public and private spaces, such as hallways, classrooms, offices, and common areas. Follow safety standards and comply with all infection control, sanitation, and hazardous materials policies. Respond promptly to floor care requests and communicate effectively with campus staff. Perform light janitorial duties, such as trash removal, as necessary. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to identify concerns or opportunities for improvement. Complete all other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in floor care or janitorial services is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Ability to operate and maintain specialized floor care equipment. Strong attention to detail, along with the ability to follow instructions and work independently. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with students, staff, and guests. Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times. Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 75 pounds, and engage in standing, sitting, bending, and walking for extended periods. Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks daily and work in an environment that requires handling cleaning products. A criminal background check is required. Ready to Join Us?
