Responsibilities Perform specialized floor care tasks, including stripping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning. Safely operate various types of floor care equipment, like auto scrubbers and burnishers. Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of floors in hallways, classrooms, offices, and common areas. Comply with safety standards, including infection control and hazardous materials policies. Respond promptly to floor care requests while maintaining good communication with campus staff. Carry out light janitorial duties, such as trash removal, as needed. Collaborate with your supervisor and team to identify areas needing attention or improvement. Perform all other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Experience in floor care or janitorial services is a plus, but training will be provided. Ability to operate and maintain specialized floor care equipment. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions and work independently. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when interacting with students, staff, and guests. Adherence to safety and quality standards at all times. Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds, push/pull up to 75 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods. Capable of performing routine, repetitive tasks daily and working in an environment involving cleaning products. A criminal background check is required. Ready to Join Us?
