About the Opportunity This Cloud Operations Engineer position will help design, implement, and support Microsoft Azure Cloud environments. This position will work closely with the development teams, DevOps Engineers, and other IT Operations groups. Experience you'll bring 3-4+ years of knowledge and experience with Azure Technologies

Experience building and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform

Working experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM), Azure Automation

Azure Network Security Group and Route Table experience;

Strong Scripting experience in PowerShell or Python

Production Operations Experience

Experience meeting PCI, HIPAA, and Sarbanes-Oxley security requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred

Ability to document clear/precise instructions for procedures or processes

Ability to manage small to medium projects, providing clear concise project tasks and deliverables

Strong Windows Server Administration experience in an enterprise environment

Strong knowledge of Active Directory troubleshooting and supporting technologies

It would be great if you already had the opportunity to work with Certified Azure Associate (AZ-104) or higher

Strong Networking and Security ACL experience

Advanced knowledge of Linux operating systems

Advanced problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

How you'll make an impact Design and build Azure environments using automated workflows

Support various technologies housed within the Azure cloud environment

Help develop a library of scripts to automate the WEX Azure cloud environments

Work with development teams translating requirements into designs and automated workflows

Assist developers and DevOps teams with implementing automation scripts that follow the WEX standards

Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Info Security (e.g., Azure Security Center), and Operations to develop automation that meet our standards and compliance requirements.

Complete projects and other duties as assigned

Train off-hours staff for duties that can be performed during non-business hours.

Project lead on technology changes

Participate in the on-call support rotation .

Actual pay rates will vary and will be based on various factors, such as your qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. Base pay is one component of WEX's total compensation package. Most sales positions are eligible for commission under the terms of an applicable plan. Non-sales roles are typically eligible for a quarterly or annual bonus based on their role and applicable plan.
