Job Summary In partnership with the Asset Services Team, the Senior Property Accounting Manager will lead a team to work to meet the financial and reporting demands of the bigger Property Team to assure a high level of accuracy and professionalism regarding all portfolio financial requirements, as specified by the property management agreement. In addition, the Senior Property Accounting Manager provides leadership, mentorship, coaching and direction to the designated accounting team, ensuring standardized practices and protocols and enhancing quality control and oversight. Essential Functions Manage and lead a team of Accounting Associates, Associate Property Accountants, Property Accountants, Sr. Property Accountants and Property Accounting Managers including recruitment, onboarding, supervision, scheduling, training, development, evaluation, and disciplinary action of employees Provide coaching, direction and leadership to employees in order to achieve company and client results Promote and maintain a positive working environment in alignment with Kidder Mathews values Ensure accuracy and approve timecards and time off requests for direct reports Timely and accurate preparation of all financial reports to client Manage daily cash receipts/cash management process ensuring accuracy and on time completion Manage and maintain the integrity of tenant data in property management accounting system Prepare accruals for Property Managers when relevant at least 48 hours prior to due date of Owner Report Prepare monthly variance analysis narrative for Property Manager at least 48 hours prior to due date of Owner Report Prepare periodic reforecasts as required by Client Oversee batch/verification process of weekly accounts payables ensuring accuracy and on time completion Oversee monthly bank reconciliation process ensuring accuracy and on time completion Partner with Property Accounting Managers on new accounting, operations and other initiatives. Including new process development, implementation and monitoring Assist with annual budgeting for the Property Accounting Department Partner with Property Team with preparation of annual CAM reconciliations and estimates Partner with Property Team, prepare annual budgets accurately and on time Periodically audit monthly reports prepared by team for accuracy Other Functions Perform other duties or projects as requested or required Essential Qualifications

Ability to build relationships with clients, vendors and internal partners Ability to provide excellent customer service Ability to speak, write and understand English Professional communication etiquette with good oral and written communication skills Professional level of confidentiality in handling employee information Accurate, attentive, detail oriented, with strong analytical skills. Demonstrated financial analysis skills Demonstrated ability to function in a team environment and proactively problem solve Ability to work outside of normal office hours to meet various deadlines Ability to prioritize and organize work load in order to meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines. Demonstrated initiative and trouble shooting skills Demonstrated ability to follow through and complete tasks Willingness and demonstration of professional development and continual learning Ability to ten key by touch This is a standard office environment with standard office noise like talking, office equipment, etc. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is often active and may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching. The employee must sometimes lift and/or move items up to 10 pounds. The employee must frequently sit and use a computer for long periods of time.
