About the Role
The company is eager to hire a Vice President of Development Projects to spearhead our build-to-suit initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will drive business development in commercial real estate across various sectors, aiming to achieve a target revenue of $125-$130 million for 2025. Your responsibilities will encompass leading sales efforts, negotiating with clients on key projects, and collaborating in the formulation of annual revenue and profit objectives. You will actively seek and pursue lucrative build-to-suit development opportunities while crafting effective marketing and sales strategies for the region. Building strong ties in the local development and construction community is essential to creating opportunities for future growth.
To thrive in this role, you must demonstrate advanced expertise in selling, developing, and managing diverse commercial and industrial facilities. A proven history of relationship-building, coupled with the ability to lead a high-performing team profitably, is crucial. Strong financial acuity, exceptional interpersonal communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a customer-centric culture are necessary to be successful.
We require candidates to hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; an advanced degree is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of relevant commercial development and construction experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. Prior leadership experience in build-to-suit business development is essential to this role.
