At Lilly, we unite caring with discovery to make life better for people around the world. We are a global healthcare leader headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Our employees work to discover and bring life-changing medicines to those who need them, improve disease understanding and management, and contribute to communities through philanthropy and volunteerism. We put people first and seek individuals determined to make life better for people around the world. We are seeking an exceptionally qualified computational biologist/data scientist to join the emerging Lilly Genomic Sciences team at Eli Lilly. The successful candidate will help shape the computational vision of LGS from the ground up and contribute to a diverse array of research projects spanning multiple therapeutic areas and data modalities. The role involves collaborating closely with experimental colleagues using state-of-the-art functional genomics approaches to design research, interpret results, and troubleshoot. The ideal candidate will be a thought leader with excellent scientific communication skills, experienced in analyzing and integrating human genetics and functional genomics data, with deep knowledge of gene regulation and the non-coding genome. A strong background in analyzing NGS-based screening data (e.g., MPRA, STARR-seq, CRISPR regulatory element screening, deep mutational scanning), functional annotation data (e.g., ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, Hi-C), single-cell genomics data, and statistical genetics data (e.g., UKBB, fine-mapping, GWAS) is essential.
