Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in HESI and ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Prior tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education preferred. Compensation & Schedule
Base contract rates start at $18/hour; higher rates for specialized subjects and longer-term student relationships (up to $40/hour). Get paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions billed. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Remote tutoring with no commuting. Platform & Support
Matched with students suited to your teaching style and expertise. AI-powered Tutor Copilot provides real-time instructional support and lesson generation to save prep time. We handle logistics; you invoice for sessions and payments are processed by us. About Varsity Tutors
