About the Role
We are looking for an exceptional Senior Vice President of Development who will play a crucial role in advancing our mission to combat human trafficking and modern-day slavery. This leadership position requires a dynamic visionary capable of crafting and executing a comprehensive global fundraising strategy. As a key executive, you will lead a talented team and create a compelling vision for resourcing our movement, while actively participating in hands-on fundraising, particularly focusing on corporate giving and major gifts.
The SVP of Development will be responsible for overseeing a multi-channel fundraising approach and ensuring accountability for meeting our yearly revenue targets. Candidates must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in non-profit fundraising, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity. A demonstrated history of successfully closing major gifts, developing corporate fundraising initiatives, and managing diverse revenue streams is essential.
The ideal candidate will be highly relational, equipped with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and exhibit a profound passion for social justice and our organizational mission. Responsibilities include team leadership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and establishing effective systems to track fundraising progress. The SVP of Development will also cultivate a professional, high-accountability fundraising culture and ensure optimal resource allocation to deliver a strong return on investment.
