This includes leading a multi-channel fundraising approach with a focus on special events, corporate partnerships, major gifts, planned giving, and foundation support. The role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in fundraising, particularly in securing and managing major gifts, event sponsorships, and planned gifts. The SVP will also be tasked with strengthening existing revenue streams, identifying new opportunities, and building systems to support long-term fundraising performance and donor retention.

The role requires strong leadership and team management skills, the ability to motivate and mentor a high-functioning team, and a hands-on approach to executing and delivering results. The SVP will work closely with the Executive Team and Board of Directors to elevate fundraising capabilities and ensure that development goals are aligned with the organization's marketing and communications efforts. A deep appreciation for diversity, equity, and inclusion is essential, as is the ability to champion a mission-driven, equity-centered approach to philanthropy and relationship-building.
