About the Role We are seeking an experienced Vice President for Interest Rate Risk and Balance Sheet Strategy to enhance our Treasury group. This pivotal role involves developing and executing our interest rate risk management framework and strategies. You'll take charge of: Identifying, measuring, monitoring, and controlling exposure to interest rate fluctuations. Managing quarterly reporting of regulatory net economic value and net interest income analysis. Optimizing our balance sheet to bolster financial health, aligning maturities and repricing characteristics of assets and liabilities. Implementing strategies for duration management and interest rate hedging. As the VP, you will lead a dedicated team and work collaboratively with various internal and external stakeholders. Your influence will help ensure our balance sheet remains resilient and supports our long-term financial health and strategic goals. About You The ideal candidate will possess: A Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred). A minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial institution with significant assets. A strong background in liquidity, treasury, funds management, ALM, or capital stress testing. Solid knowledge of interest rate risk metrics and forecasting interest income and expense. Proficiency in ALM software and fixed-income markets. Advanced skills in Excel and programming, with a record of identifying and implementing strategies to enhance interest rate risk profiles. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
