In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the management of a substantial multi-family fund, driving the execution of the fund’s investment strategy. Your key responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough property investment underwriting Performing detailed financial modeling Analyzing investment performance for existing portfolio assets and new property investments Maintaining and constructing proprietary fund financial models Assisting with the preparation of comprehensive property investment memorandums Preparing for and ensuring compliance with deadlines for fund and investor reporting Coordinating responses to due diligence requests from investors and consultants The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate degree in finance, business, economics, or real estate, with a strong preference for an MBA or master’s degree. You should possess 5-7 years of experience in finance or business-focused roles, particularly in the realm of institutional real estate and multi-family investment. Candidates who excel in property cash flow mechanics, investment analysis, and equity/debt considerations will thrive in this role. Strong business writing and financial analysis skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, are required. Familiarity with Argus software is a plus. You will need to effectively collaborate with asset managers and finance staff, engage in the review of property business plans, and provide valuable marketing support through competitive analyses and insights into industry trends.
