To learn how to apply for a faculty or staff position using the Career worklet, please review this .The Human Resources Generalist assists in the delivery of client-based services of Human Resources programs and processes relative to employee relations, recruitment and selection, compensation administration, benefit program administration, client relationship management and special projects.

• Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all personnel; assists in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedure manuals.

• Partners with the client services manager to develop department goals, objectives, and systems.

• Partners with the manager to administer compensation changes, support recruitment efforts and needs, both with system driven data inputting needs as well as execution of various employment actions.

• Supports manager in facilitation of meetings and training sessions for the client.

• Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communicating benefit information to employees.

• Assists in conducting new-employee orientations; monitors career pathing program.

• Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.

• Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.

• Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.

• Inputs and maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database.
