We strive to inspire, empower, and uplift communities through education, inclusivity, diversity, and social impact. We’re looking for a Head of Finance to join our growing team! What You’ll Do
Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to guide the organization's financial operations and decisions Serve as a key liaison between the finance department and other departments or external stakeholders Evaluate and optimize financial systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy Provide financial guidance and support to department heads, donors, and external partners Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal controls Lead and mentor the finance team, promoting a culture of accountability, professional growth, and collaboration What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience as a Finance Manager, Controller, or similar role Strong financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting skills Knowledge of nonprofit accounting principles and practices, including fund accounting, grants management, and restricted funding preferred Ability to interpret financial data and trends to inform strategic decisions Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or other ERP systems Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field Seniority level
