Overview
The Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) invites applications for a research scientist in ocean circulation and climate. JPL is a division of the California Institute of Technology and is a recognized international leader in Earth remote sensing and climate research. The successful candidate will contribute to the efforts of an ongoing study in ocean state estimation but is expected to develop innovative research projects of her/his own and pursue new satellite missions and/or instrument opportunities. Responsibilities
Contribute to an ongoing study in ocean state estimation and pursue innovative research projects in ocean circulation and climate from satellite observations. Qualifications
Expertise in ocean circulation modeling and state estimation with experience in analyzing satellite ocean remote sensing observations.
