CR\T is currently seeking a Electrician for the Valdosta, Georgia facility.
The ideal candidate is responsible for servicing and troubleshooting the production and support equipment within our plants. This position will include project support, preventive, and predictive maintenance.
Maintain, service, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and related components associated with Production and facility equipment.
PLC experience required.
Basic knowledge in the electrical diagnostics of PLC's, AC/DC drive circuitry,
motors, transformers, control systems, and power distribution s
ystems.
Perform tasks of high complexity on electrical (including 480 volts); ability to utilize electrical ladder diagrams, electronic circuitry diagrams, and software programs to modify, repair, or improve equipment functionality.
Individual must be proficient in the repair of a wide variety of equipment.
Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications including routing and installing conduit.
Utilize a variety of tools such as: hand tools, power tools, electrical/electronic test equipment and calibration equipment.
Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
S
elf-motivated,
with the ability to work with minimal supervision, under pressure and/or tight deadlines.
Flexibility to work any shift and work overtime.
Good communication skills and working relationships with others.
Demonstrate proficiency utilizing a personal computer, ordering parts and materials by using appropriate company purchasing requirements including computerized maintenance management systems
Must be able to work closely with engineers, technicians and peers to maintain electronic/electrical systems on new and specialized equipment with knowledge of the National Electrical Code and execute the most cost effective method to fulfill customer and code requirements.
High School Diploma; and at least 3 - 5 years of electrical experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
