Overview Fisher Phillips, a leading international labor and employment law firm, is seeking a litigation associate with 3-5 years of experience in employment or complex commercial litigation for its Columbia, South Carolina office.

Responsibilities The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills and experience handling litigation matters from start to finish, including drafting and responding to pleadings, managing discovery, drafting and arguing motions, taking and defending depositions, and participating in mediations and trials. While experience in employment law is preferred, we are also open to attorneys with substantial defense-side litigation experience in complex matters who are eager to develop expertise in labor and employment law.

Qualifications

3-5 years of employment or complex commercial litigation experience.

Excellent writing and analytical skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Strong academic credentials.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

A commitment to personal growth and high-quality client service.

Admission to the South Carolina Bar is required or sufficient UBE scores to be admitted.
