We're seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Banquet Servers to help deliver exceptional dining experiences at weddings, private events, and large-scale gatherings. As a key part of our events team, you'll work closely with event coordinators and hosts to ensure every detail runs smoothly-from setup to final service-while providing warm, attentive hospitality and prompt solutions to any questions or concerns.
Responsibilities:
Supervise banquet functions to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.
Set-up and breakdown of rooms
Act as the contact person for the guest hosting the event
Responsible for taking care of bride and groom and wedding party for weddings
Ensure compliance with all departmental and company policies and procedures.
Check storage areas for proper supplies, organization, and cleanliness
Ensure bridal room and bathroom is cleaned
Setup bridal room with waters and cheese platter and that bride and groom receive cocktail appetizers
Check buffet tables/receptions/coffee breaks for cleanliness, attractiveness, and layout
Ensure that unused food is returned to the kitchen, that designated condiments are broken down and properly stored (butters, cream, dressings, etc), and all banquet supplies are returned to designated storage areas
Foster and promote a cooperative working climate, maximizing productivity and employee morale
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Friendly, professional, and committed to creating a positive guest experience.
Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on event scheduling.
Ability to maintain high standards in event setup, food presentation, and service quality.
Quick thinker who can handle unexpected issues calmly and efficiently.
Clear and confident in conveying information to team members and guests, including menu details and service expectations.
Comfortable working long shifts on your feet in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
