P-CSD-001Now Hiring: Quality InspectorLocation: Attleboro, MAPay Range: $20.00 to $23.00 per hourSchedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PMGovernment Contract Requirement: US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card holder)Join a leader in Aerospace and Defense manufacturingOur client, a trusted manufacturer of high-quality components for the aerospace, defense, and related industries, is seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join their Quality Department in Attleboro, Massachusetts. In this role, you will inspect products for material defects and workmanship using visual, mechanical, dimensional, and functional inspection methods. Inspections are performed throughout the entire production process, from raw material to final product.Primary Responsibilities Perform in-process and final inspections in accordance with established quality standards Document inspection results using inspection sheets, logbooks, and quality software tools Ensure adherence to ISO and AS standards and participate in continuous improvement efforts Collaborate with cross-functional teams including quality, manufacturing, and engineering Support 5S and TPM objectives in the quality assurance area Adhere to all safety regulations and proceduresKey Duties Conduct incoming, in-process, and final product inspections Perform mechanical, dimensional, and visual inspections using calipers, micrometers, indicators, comparators, and other tools Initiate and document non-conformances such as CARE or NCMRs Generate Certificates of Conformance Interpret blueprints and technical documents such as QMS, SOPs, and OCNs Apply good documentation practices for accurate reporting Perform or support first article inspections and CMM inspections as neededJob Requirements US Citizenship or Green Card holder required due to government contract High School Diploma or equivalent Three or more years of experience in quality inspection preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong knowledge of GD and T and blueprint reading Familiarity with ISO9001 and AS9100 standards Basic understanding of SPC, FMEA, and other quality toolsPreferred Qualifications ASQ Certification such as Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, or Quality Process Analyst Experience with CMM including Mitutoyo and MCOSMOS software Technical training or coursework in quality or manufacturing Experience in Lean or Six Sigma environments Background with electromechanical systems and sensorsPhysical Demands and Work Environment Ability to stand, sit, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds Good hand-eye coordination and near vision; annual eye exam required Ability to follow ergonomic and safety practicesReady to bring your quality expertise to a mission-critical industryApply now and become part of a team that values precision, teamwork, and innovationBenefitsPEAK believes that taking care of our team is essential for success and we are proud to provide benefits that enhance both your well-being and your future.PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.Additionally, our associates may be eligible for Paid Sick Leave as required by Federal, State, or local laws.Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO)PEAK Technical Staffing is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive environment and is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
