About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic Chief Fundraising Officer to lead our fundraising initiatives and make a significant impact on our organization. In this role, you will steer the strategic direction, management, and oversight of all contributed income streams, including membership, corporate sponsorships, special fundraising events, planned giving, capital funding, and grants. As the primary relationship manager for major donors, sponsors, and stakeholders, you will be instrumental in maximizing contributed income across all fundraising programs and platforms.
You will collaborate closely on day-to-day operations, public relations, goal setting, strategic planning, and addressing longer-term organizational needs. Additionally, you will serve as the primary staff liaison for the Board of Trustees Development Committee and specified campaign committees.
The perfect candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years’ experience in development leadership roles, showcasing a proven track record in major gift solicitation, capital campaigns, and donor stewardship. Exceptional leadership and team management skills are a must, along with outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
We are looking for someone who demonstrates strategic thinking and excels at building and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders, showing a strong commitment to our mission and values. Familiarity with fundraising software and a solid understanding of nonprofit fundraising best practices will be essential for your success in this role.
