DESCRIPTION OF WORK Custodial workers perform routine manual tasks to maintain cleanliness in public institutional buildings and surrounding areas. This role requires the use of professional-grade cleaning supplies and modern cleaning equipment and may involve such laborious tasks as moving or lifting heavy furniture. Duties follow a consistent schedule and are regularly inspected to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met. Additionally, you will assist with snow removal, maintain a safe working environment, and report any problems or unsafe conditions to your supervisor. Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week Work hours are 1st shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM), Sunday to Thursday, with 30-minute lunch. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Additional Requirement: You must be able to perform essential job functions. Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and a drug screening. This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.

Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
