a collaborative creative team of talented people who are dedicated to growing together. They are seeking an Account Manager to be a trusted partner for our clients. This isn’t just about managing tasks—it’s about owning the client experience, developing innovative solutions and being the driving force to help projects move seamlessly and efficiently through the agency. The Account Manager provides critical support to the team in the day-to-day execution of client projects. This role will collaborate with internal teams and clients to define project scope, timeline and budget. Critical thinking, problem-solving skills, team mindset, prioritization and a self-starter attitude are necessary for success in this role. We need a strong, capable advocate focused on enabling the best brand design work for ourselves and our clients. If you're a self-starter with a knack for relationship-building and strategic thinking, this is the opportunity for you! This is an on-site position 4 days/week located in Kansas City, MO. Must love coffee and dogs. Mostly dogs. Responsibilities: Build client relationships through a consultative and strategic approach to clients’ business needs and tactical day-to-day account management Serve as the primary point of contact and set client expectations to ensure effective communication throughout the project Assist in developing and presenting proposals, communications plans for clients.

Uncover and pursue opportunities to create value and grow accounts Forecast revenue on a monthly and quarterly basis Utilize inputs to develop project scope, timeline, and budget Coordinate project deliverables and milestones for successful project delivery Provide ongoing, consistent team communication on project status Develop project kick-off documentation Coordinate internal and client meetings As a dynamic member of the team, you’ll pitch in on special projects and agency initiatives as needed, contributing to our overall success Qualifications: 3-4 years of experience in account management at a marketing agency or design firm Bachelor's degree or equivalent, marketing or communications majors preferred Initiative: exhibit self-motivation and a strong desire to perform at a high level Forward-thinking: able to anticipate questions, problems, and obstacles and formulate potential solutions Detailed and organized: dedicated to managing details and information to ensure error free work and streamlined communications with clients Multi-tasking: able to handle multiple projects at once and balance shifting priorities

Demonstrated track record of building lasting client relationships Proven track record in growing accounts and achieving financial targets Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure the quality of projects Ability and willingness to recognize and clarify ambiguous requests to ensure you are working to solve the right problem vs. just taking an order Ability and willingness to adapt to dynamic client needs Ability to navigate fast turnarounds Ability to use diplomacy to balance shifting priorities Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills Excellent organizational and time management skills A little about them: They're a nimble and creative group of flexible, pragmatic team players who share values and work as part of a collaborative team.
