American Traveler is seeking a Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist with RPSGT certification and state licensure for a 16-week night shift contract.Job Details•Short-term acute care hospital setting,•Sleep laboratory with a 2:1 patient-to-technologist ratio,•Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM,•Sunday night shifts required as part of regular scheduling,•Block scheduling provided,•No floating between units within the same hospital required, but may float to sister facilities nearby,•No on-call requirement,•Uses Epic EMR system and Epic experience is required,Job Requirements•Active RPSGT certification required,•State licensure for polysomnographic technologist required if applicable,•Minimum of 1 year recent experience as a Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist,•Epic EMR experience required,•Ability to provide two supervisory references covering at least one year within the last three years,•Must have a vehicle for possible travel between facilities,Additional Information•Allied staff may wear any color scrubs,•Scrubs are provided for certain departments; business casual for specific roles,•Travelers must be prepared to float to sister facilities within the state as needed,•Holiday coverage required; must work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day),•Requested time off must be submitted upfront; approval is discretionary and extended requests may delay or jeopardize offer,•Former staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside the 50-mile radius from the facility,•No parking fees for staff,•Pre-assignment modules required, averaging 16 hours to complete,),•hash,:• ,
