Southland Holdings is seeking resumes for an ERP Business Systems Analyst with great leadership skills at our headquarters in Grapevine, TX ONSITE. The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for improving our business systems as the company continues to grow. This role will play a pivotal part in migrating from the current 2 ERP systems to Viewpoint Vista and enhancing business processes.

Duties:

  • Gather business requirements, functional specifications, and documentation from departments to provide solutions and recommend system enhancements.
  • Provide second-tier support for systems issues.
  • Collaborate with the implementation team to transition from Sage and JD Edwards ERPs to Viewpoint Vista.
  • Design, create, and maintain reports as needed.
  • Assist with deploying and training on new ERP modules or third-party enhancements.
  • Work with the Director of Information Systems on testing and documenting new system solutions.
  • Coordinate interfaces between internal applications and external development teams.
  • Document and manage changes to ERP or third-party software in accordance with SOX compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years as a business systems analyst or similar role.
  • Experience with Viewpoint Vista required.
  • Construction experience.
  • Experience with SQL queries and stored procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge in construction accounting.
  • Previous SOX experience with Segregation of Duties and Change Management documentation.
  • Ability to interact with employees at all levels.
  • Strong skills to meet critical deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Self-starter with strong ethical standards.
