Industry Market Research Type Privately Held About the Role We are seeking a dynamic Director of Technical Accounting to lead our reporting function and guarantee the integrity of our financial and operational data. As a key player in our organization, you will prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS, drive the annual budget process and actively support our forecasting activities. In this role, you will be the primary contact for external audits, manage a talented team, and promote professional development while ensuring that our financial reporting aligns with our strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of financial statements adhering to IFRS standards. Leadership in the annual budget process and forecasting strategies. Serve as the main liaison for external audits. Oversee a small team, providing coaching and development opportunities. Align financial reporting with company strategic initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; MBA preferred. CPA and/or Chartered Accountant certification required. Minimum of 10 years of accounting or audit experience. At least 5 years of experience managing a global team. In-depth knowledge of IFRS and technical accounting principles. Strong background in financial planning and analysis, including forecasting and cash flow management. Exceptional ethical standards and integrity. Excellent communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and time management skills. Experience in the commodity trading industry is a plus. Travel Percent Less than 10% Functions Finance
