Description Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Operations Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless warehouse activities. In this position, you will oversee daily operations including material planning, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and equipment handling. By coordinating the efficient movement of materials, you will support our production needs based on precise engineering requirements. Your attention to detail and familiarity with warehouse processes will be key to maintaining accurate records and optimizing inventory systems. Primary Responsibilities: Plan and manage the timely movement of materials from receipt to production. Analyze engineering specifications and production schedules to establish raw material needs. Collaborate effectively with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to coordinate material flow. Ensure accuracy in inventory management, applying appropriate min/max levels while updating systems accordingly. Conduct routine inventory audits and resolve discrepancies to uphold accuracy. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including inspection and organization of materials. Load and unload materials from vehicles with efficiency. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Basic Qualifications: TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required. High school diploma or equivalent. 2-4 years of experience in materials planning, production scheduling, inventory control, or warehouse operations. Solid understanding of materials management and inventory control principles. Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, MRP systems). Ability to interpret production schedules and engineering specifications to optimize material flow. Strong problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve issues effectively. Excellent communication skills for collaboration across teams. Basic knowledge of warehousing operations, material handling, and logistics. Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree or certification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Manufacturing, or related field. Hands-on experience with MRP or ERP tools such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite. Understanding of raw material sourcing and planning based on engineering specifications. Familiarity with lean inventory methodologies or just-in-time (JIT) practices. Experience working in manufacturing or production settings with cross-functional teams. Capability to analyze inventory trends and suggest enhancements for efficiency. Forklift certification or experience with warehouse equipment is a plus.
