WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A HORTICULTURIST
Spanish language proficiency, experience in landscape design, and a basic understanding of highly maintained turf grasses are preferred but not required. We just ask that you meet the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in horticulture or equivalent experience 3+ years in horticulture or in a related industry Management experience with staff of 5+ Team-oriented and accountable Knowledge of native/adaptive plants, irrigation systems, and turf grasses Ability to read and interpret budgets Ability to work on weekends as necessary Ability to obtain TDA pesticide license within 90 days of employment

position with flexible availability Monday-Sunday, including
some weekends
based on the Austin County Club's golf and event schedule.
As our Horticulturist, you'll design and maintain landscape beds, supervise a skilled team, and apply fertilizers and pesticides. Collaborating with the Golf Course department, you'll manage greenhouse plants, keep the grounds pristine, and introduce fresh ideas. Each day, you'll shape our club's visual identity with creativity and pride.
