possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph. Responsibilities
Analyze user needs to design software that meets performance and functionality goals Debug and enhance existing software to improve reliability and efficiency
Recommend improvements to documentation and development standards
Design and code new features or modify existing software for evolving requirements
Integrate legacy systems into modern environments
Develop and optimize data queries for current and future datasets
Write and review technical documentation to support development and deployment
Lead development efforts as needed, based on project scope and methodology
Design and implement complex database interfaces and queries
Develop algorithms that meet or exceed system performance benchmarks
Assist in creating and executing test procedures for software components
Collaborate with users and system engineers to analyze workflows and solve problems
Modify software to adapt to new hardware or improve performance
Use scientific analysis and modeling to predict and measure design outcomes
Qualifications
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
Seven (7) years experience as a SWE is required. Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in C++. Experience with Windows and/or Linux platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Must support the Intelligence Community. Required Skills: 2+ years developing applications using languages like C, C++, C#, Java, or Python
2+ years developing for Windows or UNIX environments
Experience with DevOps tools (Artifactory, Docker, Terraform, Ansible, Packer)
1+ year working with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo) and building automated pipelines
