Location Manager - Pipe

We rely on our talented and dedicated team members to provide reliable products with personalized service. We are seeking a Location Manager Pipe for County Materials at our Iowa City, IA location. Job Duties: Manages overall location operations, sales and quality control for location. Oversee and manage all plant and sales team members. Evaluate and improve methods, processes, and resource utilization to increase productivity, efficiency, and quality. Prepare and manage annual plant budget, including cost control and capital expenditure planning. Develop plans for the maximum utilization of materials, machines and team members. Understand the market, market dynamics and customer base to maximize sales results. Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the company's production capacity and growth goals. Forecast demand and work with production planning to ensure alignment. Identify new market opportunities and customer segments. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and OEMs. Handle major accounts and negotiate contracts. Serve as the voice of the customer within the plant, ensuring needs are met. Work closely with production, engineering, and quality control teams. Communicate customer requirements and feedback to improve product offerings and delivery performance. Lead and develop the sales team (inside sales, outside sales, account managers). Ensure a safe work environment through adherence to safety standards and fostering a strong safety culture. Monitor key performance metrics, identify gaps, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Other duties as assigned. Work Environment: Work in indoor and outdoor weather conditions, including extreme hot or cold temperatures Work near moving machinery and equipment - could include electrical hazards Work in a noisy environment Physical Requirements: Carrying/Lifting 10 - 40 Pounds occasionally Standing / Walking / Climbing Squatting/Crouching/Kneeling/Bending Experience & Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent. 8-10 years of related experience. Knowledge of commonly used industry concepts, practices, and procedures preferred. Exercise good judgment regarding work site operations Ability to perform well as a team Self-motivator and must be flexible in order to accommodate needs of your team.
