About the Role
We are actively seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Vice President for our Loan Restructuring team within the Asset Management department. In this pivotal position, you will oversee the proactive management and resolution of a diverse portfolio, which includes specially serviced CMBS loans and various distressed debt assets. The ideal candidate will bring at least 7 years of experience in managing non-performing commercial real estate loans or debt asset management and hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Your responsibilities will encompass negotiating and structuring complex debt arrangements, collaborating with third-party consultants, and ensuring compliance with all applicable financial and legal standards. Furthermore, you will engage in underwriting new debt investments and contribute to special projects as our Loan Restructuring platform evolves in response to market trends.
To excel in this role, you should possess extensive knowledge of commercial real estate, fixed income instruments, and general financial principles. Familiarity with the origination and servicing of various types of securities is highly beneficial. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and remain organized amidst challenges. A proactive approach is crucial, as is your capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
This position calls for an adept problem-solver who can confidently present and recommend resolution strategies to our leadership team and demonstrate proficiency in financial modeling and cash flow forecasting.
