Position Summary The Associate Director of Conference & Event Services provides leadership and operational oversight to maximize revenue and enhance programming through the effective use of campus facilities. This role involves managing internal and external events, developing client relationships, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering collaboration across departments.

Strategic Planning & Business Development Develop and implement recruitment and retention strategies for conference and event clients. Create and maintain a marketing plan to attract and sustain business. Maintain a client database and use analytics to drive repeat business and ROI. Contracting & Compliance Review annual contracts and pricing structures with Director implementation. Oversee compliance with insurance and safety regulations. Ensure adherence to Massachusetts Board of Health regulations for camps and clinics. Oversee departmental budgeting, revenue projections, and financial reporting. Manage billing, invoicing, and accounts receivable processes. Event & Facility Management Lead the planning and execution of all campus events. Coordinate logistics with Facilities, Campus Police, IT, and Food Services. Supervise internal and external event scheduling using 25Live and Campus Master Calendar. Manage and mentor department staff. Oversee scheduling, logistics, and customer service delivery. Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence. Campus & Community Relations Act as liaison between external clients and internal departments. Maintain strong relationships with the Town of Easton Board of Health and other stakeholders. Education and/or Experience
Minimum of 5 years in event management and building operations. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong communication and persuasive writing skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Strategic thinking and independent decision-making. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, 25Live, and CCURE. Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed. Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs. Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk, or hear. The employee is frequently required to use their hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
