This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious lawyers to join a growing, competitive law firm with a diversified global practice. Candidates must be admitted and in good standing in New Jersey; additional admissions in other states are a plus. Responsibilities
Develop and propose litigation strategy; communicate with clients and opposing counsel. Draft reports, pleadings, discovery requests, and motions; prepare and defend depositions. Argue motions; participate in mediations and trials; conduct legal research. Collaborate with team on case management and overall client service. Qualifications
3-6 years of insurance defense litigation experience. Strong litigation background with excellent research, writing, and communication skills. Substantive familiarity with the rules and procedures of the New Jersey Courts. Experience in premises liability, motor vehicle negligence (including UM/UIM), negligent security, professional liability, and wrongful death claims is preferred. Active admission and good standing in New Jersey; additional admissions in other states are a plus. Compensation and Benefits
Attorney compensation ranges from $130,000 to $160,000 annually, with salary contingent on experience, practice group, location, and other factors. Competitive salary, annual performance-based raises, discretionary bonus, and benefits package. 1920-hour work requirement.
