The Chair should be a role model for faculty and learners, demonstrating the highest level of personal and professional commitment, enthusiasm, and integrity. Responsibilities also include serving as the Assistant Dean for Foundations of Medicine and aligning the department with the medical school's mission, vision, and values. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in research, be adept at integrating advanced technologies into curriculum delivery, and be able to work effectively with other academic leaders to provide vision and long-term planning for the educational mission of the medical school.
