How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable FOS - Safety Management System (SMS) to join our team. This position will provide subject matter expertise concerning Safety Management Systems and safety programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SMS policy and procedures and will be responsible for additional duties related to Safety and SMS as assigned.
Provideexpert guidance and support on Airports SMS programs.
Develop,implement, and maintain SMS policies and procedures.
Conductsafety audits and assessments to ensure compliance with SMS standards.
LeadSafety Risk Management/Assessment activities.
Monitorand analyze safety performance data to identify trends and areas forimprovement.
Prepareand present reports on SMS activities and findings.
Assistin the development and delivery of SMS training programs.
Performadditional duties related to Safety and SMS as assigned.
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
Demonstratedexperience in Safety Management Systems and safety programs.
Solidknowledge of SMS policies and procedures.
Provenexperience analyzing and interpreting safety related data.
Strongproblem-solving skills.
Effectivecommunication and interpersonal skills.
Abilityto work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiencyin using SMS-related software and tools.
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
Embraces a diverse set of people, thinking and styles.
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

Bachelor'sdegree
Minimum2 years of experience in SMS policy and procedures.
