Responsibilities:
•Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials, packaging supplies, WIP (work-in-progress), and finished goods.
•Perform regular cycle counts and lead full physical inventories in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
•Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, reporting findings to management.
•Ensure proper labeling, storage, and rotation (FIFO/FEFO) of ingredients and products to maintain quality and food safety compliance.
•Collaborate with production, warehouse, procurement, and quality assurance teams to reconcile material usage and product yields.
•Utilize in house ERP/MRP system, Canopy, to record inventory transactions and generate reports for analysis and forecasting.
•Identify opportunities for process improvement and support implementation of inventory control best practices.
•Monitor expiration dates and initiate actions for slow-moving or obsolete inventory.
•Ensure adherence to GMPs, HACCP, and other food safety standards in all inventory-related tasks.
•Support audits and inspections by providing accurate documentation and inventory data as needed.
•Work closely with management to ensure resources are used effectively and work schedules and targets are met.
•Pulling requisitions for next day with an emphasis on attention to detail to follow formulas and scheduled quantity.
•Promotes safety through the enforcement of current safety programs. Inspects equipment and issues work orders for repair or requisitioning items needed.
•Working with the sales team to coordinate and fill online orders.
•Maintains physical condition of warehouse per company layouts and procedures.
•Communicate with functional and operations managers to ensure activities are integrated with all parts of the business.
•Functions as a Team member within the department and performs duties assigned to best serve the company.
•Accurately weigh ingredients to specification and issue to operations
Qualifications: •Must be 18 years or older. •3-5 years experience in inventory and warehousing •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and make data-driven decisions. •Ability to independently manage projects and ensure follow-up and completion. •Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams. •Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines. •Experience in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite •Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing) is a plus! •Ability to occasionally close and work weekends •Drivers License and CDL B is a HUGE plus
