We are seeking a highly skilled Atlassian Developer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-grade solutions using Atlassian tools, including Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence. Architect, configure, and maintain Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence to support advanced project management, IT service management (ITSM), and collaborative workflows. Design sophisticated workflows, permissions, custom fields, dashboards, and automation rules to meet complex organizational needs. Manage user permissions, licenses, security settings, and perform system backups, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance. Support Atlassian Cloud, including upgrades, patches, and plugin ecosystems (e.g., Advanced Roadmaps, ScriptRunner). Development and Customization
Customize Atlassian tools using plugins, scripting (e.g., Groovy, Python), and REST APIs to extend functionality and automate repetitive processes. Integrate Atlassian products with other enterprise systems (e.g., Bitbucket, third-party platforms) to streamline operations and enhance interoperability. Leverage knowledge of underlying Jira database structures and tools like SQL, Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or React to support advanced customizations. Collaboration and Support
Partner with business units, IT teams, and leadership to gather requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and provide expert-level support for Atlassian tools. Train end-users and administrators on Atlassian products, create comprehensive documentation, and foster adoption across teams. Optimization and Innovation
Analyze and optimize workflows to improve scalability, performance, and user experience, leveraging Jira Query Language (JQL) and Atlassian best practices. Identify opportunities to enhance functionality, recommend new features, and stay updated on Atlassian product advancements to meet evolving business needs. Utilize logging and monitoring tools to proactively monitor system health and performance in AWS environments (e.g., EC2, S3). Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of direct administration experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence, including advanced architecture and configuration. Strong expertise in Jira administration, JQL, workflows, custom fields, and configurations. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Python) and Jira REST APIs for automation and integrations. Experience with Atlassian Cloud, Data Center, and Server environments. Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools and AWS environments (e.g., EC2, S3). Comprehensive knowledge of Agile methodologies and ITSM principles.
