What you'll do
Principal application engineer who leads technical engineering for the company's Sintering paste programs, material products, and is responsible for developing in-depth application knowledge for the company's Electronics markets. Primary responsibilities include technical leadership on developmental and commercialized products by optimizing material application processes, and direct interaction with customers to troubleshoot and resolve product and process-related issues. Ensure that new and existing products can be successfully employed by customers in a manner that provides clear and measurable value. Solve fundamental, technology-specific problems associated with entire product lines or classes through innovative approaches to application process development, troubleshooting, and material characterization. Minimum of a master's degree in Materials Science/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields, with 10+ years of experience working with materials for semiconductor environments. Good understanding of the latest Semiconductor Power Packaging trends, including high thermal adhesives with sintering experience, is a plus. Knowledge of statistical analysis and design of experiments (DOE) is required. Strong verbal communication skills for one-on-one and group interactions with colleagues and customers, along with solid interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently and as part of a team on multiple tasks. Strong ownership, responsibility, customer orientation, and understanding of customer needs and culture. Ability to provide on-site support for complex customer issues.
