Your role as a CDL-A Delivery Driver includes:
Conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the tractor-trailer and completing DOT inspection reports.
Verifying the bill of lading and securing keys for off-hour deliveries.
Driving the tractor-trailer to assigned destinations while adhering to commercial driving regulations.
Maintaining driver logs (manual or Peoplenet) in compliance with DOT regulations, which includes documenting deliveries and product conditions.
Unloading the trailer and delivering products to customer premises.
Performing other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL-A).
Have at least 1 year or 50,000 verifiable miles driving a tractor-trailer.
Meet McLane's Motor Vehicle Record and risk assessment standards.
Ability to read, write, and understand English sufficiently for effective job performance, including safety protocols and operational instructions.
