Manufacturing Engineer Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join a passionate team focused on advancing cancer treatment solutions through cutting-edge biotechnology. Pay: Up to $42/hr. Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Hybrid role - 3 days onsite Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with R&D to develop, evaluate, and qualify polymer-related components for medical device applications. Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Reliability, and suppliers to ensure consistent quality and reliability across component life cycle. Support sourcing decisions and evaluate supplier manufacturing processes. Investigate and resolve supplier material issues, supply constraints, and support cost/value improvement initiatives. Research and evaluate new and existing technologies to enhance quality and reliability of components. Perform technical assessments, including First Article reports, statistical capability reviews, regulatory compliance checks, and engineering change requests. Ensure compliance with Quality Policy, safety, and documented quality processes. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline with 2+ years of engineering experience. Experience managing multiple projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of statistical methods, Six Sigma, and DOE. Background in medical devices or similarly regulated industries. Exposure to polymer manufacturing technologies (e.g., injection molding, extrusions, chemical/polymer processing). Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's in Chemical, Mechanical, or Polymer Engineering, or Materials Science. Experience working directly with suppliers and contract manufacturers. Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and self-starter mindset. Effective presentation and communication skills across all organizational levels. Our Benefits Package
