We are actively seeking a Public Trustcleared Program Manager with federal small business program expertise to oversee the Defense Health Agency's Mentor-Protg Program (MPP) within the Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP). Qualified candidates will manage mentor-protg agreements, coordinate program reviews, and ensure compliance with DoD policy and the Small Business Act while advancing DHA's commitment to small business growth and development.
Note: This position is contingent upon contract award. We are currently seeking qualified candidates to include in our proposal for an upcoming government contract. Applicants selected may be contacted for further steps if the contract is awarded.
Work Description:
The Mentor-Protg Program Manager will oversee the execution and management of the DHA Mentor-Protg Program (MPP). This position ensures compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements, manages agreements, and provides oversight of program reviews, reporting, and budget execution.
Responsibilities: The Mentor-Protg Program Manager will support tasks such as:
Manage all Mentor-Protg Program agreements, reviews, and compliance activities.
Conduct needs assessments, draft policy documents, and coordinate internal/external reviews.
Provide program management oversight for MPP budget and expenditure tracking.
Develop performance metrics and provide recurring reporting to OSBP leadership.
Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure accountability and alignment with program goals.
Monitor legislative and acquisition guidance affecting the MPP.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, public administration, or related field ( Master's preferred).
5+ years of experience in program management, preferably within small business or federal acquisition programs.
Familiarity with DoDI 4205.01 and Mentor-Protg program requirements.
Strong stakeholder engagement, leadership, and communication skills.
Ability to manage budgets, compliance documentation, and reporting processes.
