Americas Tax Technology Group Business Analyst Manager (SAP Implementation) at EY. The Business Analyst role sits in the Solutions Delivery Pillar with a focus on SAP implementation projects within the Americas Tax Technology Group (ATTG). The team develops and maintains innovative solutions for client-serving Tax professionals, including digital/mobile tools, RPA, dashboards, visualization, analytics, and reports. Responsibilities
Plan and manage the BA approach, communicating, driving and managing the business analysis effort for the Portfolio throughout all phases of the ATTG project life cycle. Lead a team of BAs assigned to program/portfolio project(s), ensuring comprehensive business analysis is performed on all projects across the assigned Portfolio/Programs; perform hands-on BA work as needed. Actively review requirements traceability for impact and coverage analysis throughout the Portfolio. Collaborate with the Business Analysis Community of Practice to ensure consistent application of standards and methodologies; advise on exceptions. Lead QA Engineers, review test plans and drive solution quality. Collaborate with SAP implementation teams to ensure seamless integration and alignment with business processes. Develop and document SAP business processes, workflows, and system requirements. Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for process improvement within the SAP environment. Provide training and support to end-users on SAP functionalities and best practices. Manage and oversee RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) to ensure they meet business requirements and are delivered on time. Ability to clearly articulate problems and proposed solutions; proactive in identifying issues and presenting options. Ability to prioritize workloads to meet organizational objectives; excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience building relationships with cross-functional teams, external vendors and internal clients at various levels. Flexibility to adapt to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change based on client needs. Tax or Finance domain knowledge. Experience leading BAs to ensure consistency, accuracy and quality of deliverables on large initiatives. Experience with Enterprise Analysis; proficient in industry-standard BA techniques (user stories, use cases, UML/logical modeling, BABOK); Agile experience desired. Experience with requirements management, modeling and change control software; provide supervision and direction to team members. Delegate, coach, coordinate and lead project teams; leadership of virtual teams. In-depth knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., FICO, MM, SD) and experience with SAP implementation projects. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Qualifications
Bachelors degree (computer science, engineering, accounting, finance preferred) or equivalent work experience; Masters degree preferred. 812 years of relevant experience; management experience a plus. CBAP or CBATL certification preferred; SAP certification or relevant SAP training highly desirable. What We Look For
