Cloud Engineer
As a Cloud Engineer within the AWS AI/ML platform team, you will have the opportunity to work one-on-one with application and infrastructure developers to build and enhance the AI/ML infrastructure and application patterns that power mission-critical applications, ensuring that they're engineered for high availability, durability, and resiliency. You will be part of an agile team that combines various backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives to solve complex problems within AWS and beyond. Skills and Requirements Qualifications: Strong debugging and code optimization skills, with a focus on automation Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Puppet Familiar with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, CodePipeline, or Azure DevOps Proficient in version control using Git Skilled in scripting languages such as Python, Node.js, Bash, or PowerShell Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms Knowledgeable in AWS security and IAM Familiar with big data and ETL tools: Hadoop, EMR, Glue, Spark Understanding of relational databases and application interactions Experience with monitoring and logging tools: Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana Must Haves: One or more Associate or Professional-level AWS certifications Prior experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, SRE, or UNIX/Linux SysAdmin teams 5+ years of experience with core AWS services: VPC, EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, etc. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum-focused organization MS/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
