Senior Civil Engineer to join a remote-friendly firm with multiple offices in New York. You will design, plan, and oversee civil engineering projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget. Proficiency in Civil3D, MicroStation, and AutoCAD is required. This is a role suitable for a seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience. Responsibilities
Lead and manage a variety of civil engineering projects from conception to completion. Prepare, review, and approve technical documents, including design plans, specifications, and feasibility studies. Utilize Civil3D, MicroStation, and AutoCAD to create detailed designs and plans. Collaborate with teams, clients, and stakeholders to meet project requirements. Oversee cost estimates and schedules, and monitor progress for timely and cost-effective completion. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or related field. New York State Professional Engineer (NYS PE) or EIT preferred. Minimum 10 years of civil engineering experience with design, project management, and construction oversight. Proficiency in Civil3D, MicroStation, and AutoCAD. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices. Excellent project management and communication skills; ability to manage multiple projects. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data-driven decision-making abilities. Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively. Benefits
