We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team. This is a remote position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of innovative and challenging projects from the comfort of your own home. You will design, plan, and oversee civil engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. You will use Civil3D, MicroStation, and AutoCAD. This role is ideal for a professional with over 10 years of experience. Responsibilities
Lead and manage a variety of civil engineering projects from conception to completion. Prepare, review, and approve technical documents, including design plans, specifications, and feasibility studies. Utilize Civil3D, MicroStation, and AutoCAD to create detailed engineering designs and plans. Collaborate with teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. Oversee project cost estimates and schedules, and monitor progress for timely and cost-effective completion. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. Ensure designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or related field. New York State Professional Engineer (NYS PE) or EIT preferred. Minimum 10 years of experience in civil engineering, with focus on design, project management, and construction oversight. Proficiency with Civil3D, MicroStation, and AutoCAD. Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, practices, and methods. Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects. Strong communication and collaboration skills with clients and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities and data-driven decision making. Detail-oriented with analytical skills and ability to work remotely and manage time effectively. Benefits
