About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Engineering Vice President to lead and inspire our engineering organization. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role within high-growth settings. You will bring a proven track record in developing distributed, cloud-native, or data-intensive systems, along with a unique blend of technical know-how and people management skills.
As a builder at heart, you will foster a high-performing engineering team, advocate for best practices in software development, and oversee the planning and execution of projects to guarantee top-notch delivery. This role requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to align engineering with product, design, and business strategies.
Bonus points for experience in databases, real-time systems, or edge computing, contributions to open-source projects, and a background in startup or founder-led environments.
